The mission of the SBCISD Library Services is to collaborate in providing our students a quality education, to empower them to become critical thinkers, and to foster in them a lifetime joy of reading by supporting curriculum, providing a collection reflective of our community, and facilitating the access, evaluation, and implementation of print and digital resources.
The library catalog allows users to search for books found in the school library for check out. Click the icon below to open the library catalog.
Students also have access to e-books and audiobooks through their student login or with a class code. These books are available on MackinVIA, Sora, and Epic.
Students read books and log into the A.R. site to take the corresponding reading practice quiz. Students and parents can also search the BookFinder page to check if a book has a quiz in A.R. Students should not use the book while taking a quiz. A score of 80% or better on a quiz will count toward A.R. points. Students that meet their grade level A.R. goal will be eligible for incentives throughout the year.
