Mission
The mission of the SBCISD Library Services is to collaborate in providing our students a quality education, to empower them to become critical thinkers, and to foster in them a lifetime joy of reading by supporting curriculum, providing a collection reflective of our community, and facilitating the access, evaluation, and implementation of print and digital resources.

The catalog is a tool that allows library users to search for books housed in the school's library. The catalog also lists links to ebooks and book read alouds. Click on the button below to open the library's catalog.
Basic Catalog Search by Ms. Rabassa
Books
Borrowed library books should be returned in the same condition in which they were checked out and by the due date. Students may borrow books if they have no overdue books. Books that are lost or damaged beyond repair may incur a replacement fee. Students are expected to follow the book care tips below.

MackinVIA holds the district's digital collection of resources. It offers ebooks, audiobooks, research databases, and links to learning sites. MackinVIA resources are available to students 24/7, and can be accessed via the HelloID student portal.

Open Ebooks are free and available to students 24/7. Students were provided with a log in code to get access from the website below. Please ask the librarian if you lost or need a code.

Sora is a free reading app. Sora allows you to link your public library account so that you can access its digital book collection. The Sora app is available to students via the Hello ID portal, but can also be downloaded onto personal devices.
