A new school initiative that is in the works for our 4th and 5th grade students. This program is an enrichment program that is exclusively by invitation only. Students will be receiving a letter announcing their selection to this program. The Ed Downs STEMS Academy Program is not a tutorial for STAAR. The academy will have two sessions in December and two sessions in January. Students will meet on Saturdays to work on STEM projects that correlate to the different career options in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields and explore these career pathways. At the same time, students will be challenged and introduced to the 6th grade TEKS.
